Hi all, a new PB for me too...2:36 I am really pleased.  Thats another 5 mins off!  Really enjoyed the course but did think the hills at 10-11.5 were tough and gutted my forerunner decided to crash at 10.5 miles so I can't see how I did for the last couple.  Have done something to my knee though, hurt the whole way around and now painful to walk, down stairs are a nightmare!!

Really sad to here someone passed away, my thoughts are with their family and friends.

I will be back to do this one again, loved how relaxed it was at the beginning and managed to get to the car and out of Brum quite quick after the finish.

Hope everyone is ok

I still can't decide, my legs were so tired yesterday and I'm worried about tiring myself out to much.  I have however just been out for a quick run, only had time for a 5K and I am so gutted...14 seconds of a new PB.   Need to push myself a little harder!!!!

I am really looking forward to this race though, reading on Facebook people have been saying the atmosphere is better than Great North, I hope thats true, if it is it will be brilliant!!!!

I think I may try some more hill runs this week.

Quick Q, for you all.  As I did an 11 miler yesterday, what do you think I should do this Sunday, another 11 miler or reduce it in preparation for taper week?

Cheers

Jo

The last three miles just look horrific!!  I went out for an 11 mile run today and finished in a hill and found it so tough, on the day I think I'm going to have to just push through and hope I can put mind over matter!

Hows everyone elses training going?
