I really enjoyed the course although the hills were a bit tough but the scenery was beautiful. I think that the drink stations should have some pieces of orange, banana etc as well as water/SIS and jelly babies since in a marathon you usually need something else.
Thank you very much to the organisers and volunteers who did such good work and the people who cheered us.

Thank you very much for your fantastic description of the course, Michdrdm. A friend of mine is looking forward to doing his first marathon there. However, I intend to do just the half marathon if I don't get injured since I´ve had some discomfort in my left knee lately.
Best of luck on Sunday, everybody. Apparently, it´s going to be sunny.
Greetings from Almería, Spain. |

Well, amig@s, everything has its advantages and disadvantages. I´m very glad you had a good time in Benidorm. I really like the cosmopolitan atmosphere and the fact that there are runners taking part in the full marathon and others in the half one. Best wishes Antonio |

Congratulations, Dips. It was a pity we didn´t meet in Brighton but there were a lot of people. I´ll do all I can to make the sun shine this weekend. Best of luck! |
