Good work A.W. looking good. Put my longest run in today in my bid for sub 3 at Paris and ran 10 miles at an average pace of 6:46. Felt good on an undulating course, now need to focus on increasing the mileage and endurance. Please send through your training plan for this coming week when you get a chance as I find it really useful to compare. |

HI Alex, just found your forum on sub 3 Paris and finding it very interesting as I myself am running Paris again this year with sub 3 being the target. What running events have you entered in the build-up? Good luck and will follow your progress with interest. Barney. |

Hi all, I've just completed my second marathon and came very close to sub 3 but am now more determined than ever to smash this in October at the Amsterdam marathon. This brings me onto asking for your advice and expertise in devising a suitable weekly running training plan as well as core strengthening and gym work plan. Please advise on a typical gym workout routine that I can adopt to strengthen as well as a weekly running training plan to support this. I'm very ambitious and keen. Cheers, Barney. PS any additional advice on natural supplements e.g. vitamin tablets etc. to support my training is also very much appreciated |
