Well that was disappointing, the first time ive been injured enough to pull out of an event my little jog lasted all of half a mile with a constant pain in my knee so bugger! Well need to rest it then get back on track, next run is RTT in August so plenty of time.

WR, training outdoors in that heat is so hard, I take my hat off to you mate! I am injured at the minute with a sore knee and Sunday is going to be touch and go. Good luck with the rest of the run streak you mad barsteward

Well did 5 miles today in v hot conditions in a not too shabby 43 minutes, looking forward to the Alexander the great half  marathon in a week or so, should be fun
