The 620 can upload via wifi, but only once you've set up the networks and passwords using the Garmin fit software - and that needs a mac/PC
No. The mapping comes from the GPS chip inside the watch. The foot pod is used when you're indoors or unable to receive a GPS signal and provides pace data. It won't provide any kind of mapping.
i went from 5 to 6. So far 500k in them and no problems - my feet are quite wide and the 6 is a better fit for me. A bit more room midfoot I'd say. I really like them.
try using 'force send'. It's in/Settings/Ant+/Computer/Force Send
