We had a fun day. For me the mud and puddles made the event, transforming it from a grandiose parkrun into a memorable day.
Thankyou to the organisers and marshalls and especially the very noisy and cheery marshalls at the mud climb.
A run like that is making me look for one that is ALL mud and puddles!
@Fin Mike Gratton 2 (event organiser?) says elsewhere in the thread :
"Just caught up with this thread - there will not be any time limits as we are not concerned about traffic issues - we're still refining the route to make sure it is 42.2km and it looks like on the current configuaration we will take you up Symons Yat Rock twice (one in the Half Marathon) but you do have about 8 or 9 miles flat along side the river to compensate. "
I don't think you need to worry about cut off times
