Im doing Lincoln 10k as well Jack...The Grantham cup course  is  mostly a nice flat off road run but with this one hill....first 100mtrs/200mtes of the hill is a gentle (ish) slope but the last 50 mtr are a killer (well for me anyway) but at least its only one hill everywhere else on the course is flat.

Booked into this as its 10 mins away from me....mostly flat course in brill surroundings but with one killer hill....ran up it last week  and the mud and incline stopped me dead 20 mtrs from the top..more hill training needed.

We have entered a team of 10 into this event at a cost of over £800 and have now discovered that it will cost an extra £35 per spectator for our friends to come and cheer us on. This includes camping and the after party but everyone of them has children and would not be stopping on after the race so to be asked to pay £35 just to watch a race seems ludicrous..it seems from people I know that are doing the event that everyone of them thought the £35 was for spectators who wanted to camp and go to the afterparty and not for people just watching the run itself....what do other people think ..I have no problems with the run/event pricing for competitors and the Rat Race events I`ve been to before have been 1st Class but this just seems stupid..the face book link to the dirty weekend is below...
