Des Sables as first ultra... well... i doubt this will even be my last ultra - as i doubt i would ever have the time to train that much!

I just checked the ladibower, and my only concern with this one is that it's loops - while a point to point or complete circular marathon might be more exciting... still, it's in my growing list of possibilities, thanks carterusm

in that case - so far the Hadrian's Wall one seems the one that has "captivated" my attention, as the 2 days challenge seems to have enough "breaks" in the main run as to seem less daunting than let's say a 50 miler straight...
