I just rang to check if they had mine, the lady was very nice, confirmed acceptance and told me that they'd be sending out the forms "soon"...

tailbird, i was really naughty and didn't tell anyone at al until i was about 16 weeks (apart from my best friend who would immediately notice my usual 16 vodkas on a friday night change to 0....so she helped me by buying coke and saying it had vodka in it, and getting shots of water for me when everyone else was getting sambuca).

I didn't keep it a secret because I was being careful, but because, i LOVED having the secret.  It sort of gave me a little power trip!!!

When I told my husband I was read to tell people I said he should tell his two favourite brothers first....his answer "er...they sort of already know"....so i said, ok tell stuart (our best man)....."er he sort of already knows".....ok, what about your other brothers...."ok alex, i've already told everyone on my side ok, i'm sorry".  i just had to laugh. Obviously my lot were very cross they were the last to know!!

I did love having our little secret though (even if it was just in my head after all)

just to let you know, so far, my arm is still a little tender.  it basically feels bruised.  the injection goes into your muscle, which obviously hurts more as it affects a larger area (actually not that large in my case, i'm hardly a muscle mary), and as it is going into the muscle they use a larger needle .....not to scare anyone out there!!!

Yes, a multiviitamin will boost your immunity to colds, however the flu virus, is much more virulent (agressive) than the common cold, and shifts and drifts in the virus mean that an immune response for one strain of flu will not protect you from another (hence yearly shots).  It is also really easy to pick up the common cold and build an immunity to it much faster than for the flu (as flu affects your respiratory system in a much harsher fashion)......OMG i'm so boring.

Anyway, I had a rubbish dream last night, that a girl and a man from my team in work stole my baby.  I walked in this morning and couldn't even look at them, the girl, collette asked me if i was ok, and i had to say "collette, just don't talk to me today, i'm still cross that you stole my baby", she just laughed at me.......isn't it funny when you wake up with the same feelings you had in your dreams?!

Well done to all the knitters!!! Much more creative than me.....i couldn't knit a scarf!!
