Hi all,

Final chemo sesh the day after tomorrow!!! Allowing 2 weeks for worst of side effects to abate, I should be able to try a mini plodette on Apr 28. Can't wait.

Getting moving again (however slowly) and not having to take the steroids should help me lose the huge amount of weight I've put on since diagnosis.

Best of luck to all FLMers, in case I don't get chance to post before the race. Sounds like the weather will be cooler for you ... thank goodness. I will watch on TV.

Hi, all.

Princess - that's a FANTASTIC weight loss - well done. I will be picking your brains for top tips once chemo is finished, as I have put on sooo much weight because of inactivity (and comfort eating!!!)

When is Raby? Will try to get along to say hi if I'm not working that weekend.

V-rap and TS: I was once paying for something in a dept store and the cashier asked if I had a store card. I said no, I didn't like credit, if I didn't have the money I didn't buy.

The man behind me in the queue, complete stranger, tapped me on the shoulder and said: 'Will you marry me?'

I didn't, of course. Although he was quite nice ....

I don't have a DVD player, ipod, games thingies or digital anything. Never even had a Walkman! And I still cross the living room to change channels on the telly (which has only 4 channels - we can't even get C5 here!)

I live in a mobile phone 'black hole' with no signal. And I have enough of computers at work.

Techie pals accuse me of living in the 1900 house.
