That'll be nice

Only did 71.3 miles in January.  February is looking OK at the moment, should be able to make up some for January.

I was lucky in that the weather was fairly cool by their standard at the time - it rained in the night and as the race started at 0500 it was still nice and cool.  It did get hotter and more humid later in the race (for me at least as it took me a long time due to problems with my foot and also suffered cramps). Overall a pleasant experience.  I'm planning to do it again this year

Hi ya! I'm back!

The plantar fasciitis I suffered at the back end of 2010 and through the main part of 2011 seems to be residing rapidly with the help of kinesio taping.  I managed to run the Singapore Marathon in Dec and have signed up to several halfs and full marathons this year already, including a double.  So I think (hope) I'm back on for some challenges.

Will sign up to this pack for 2012 in 2012 and see if I can achieve it this year.  So far, not hitting target in January due to a lot of travelling because of some domestic emergencies but hoping to make grounds very shortly.

Will find 2012in2012 on twitter tonight

Can David Lewis 77 please get in touch - I messaged you a few days ago but not heard back. Need to get Barry to you soon or he might get delayed in the Christmas post!

Barry has just returned from running the Singapore Marathon.

He is suffering from dehydration and sun stroke and needs a bit of a rest although he should be well enough to be on his way in the next few days to David Lewis 77 (for parkrun on Christmas Eve). It was all his own fault! Instead of getting a drink at drink stations, he opted for tiger balm muscle rubs!
