You could always wear Compeed blister plasters. 1. They help with blisters which are already there 2. Help to prevent blisters in those "sore areas" I ran a half marathon wearing these and guess what, no problems, just let them come off in the shower cause they are very sticky and thick. Great invention !!! |

Since running the Brentwwod half i found both knees (inner) sore to touch, Paid out £1500 (well Bupa did) on scans, x rays, physio. Apparantly I have 8 years left of running before I need knew knees, offered injections if hurts etc. Physio said my knees collaspse as I run. Given excersies to do !!!!! Damage is done ! I found icing them after a run a great help, inflamation and all that. Ran a 10k race yesterday, iced them after and all seems ok. |
