I've got one....its really good to be honest....i've not yet been able to use the new version of the software cause i've been riding outdoors but heres my opinion.
as a Turbo.....its not cheap...but it is brilliant.....your weight keeps the wheel down which kind of forces you to stay seated....thats a good thing for effective training....the resistance is very good and when it goes up a steep bit....its very tough....so no problems there.
the previous software was good too...it links up using ant+ so you can use cadence,HR devices etc (upto 8 i think)...and you had options of 3d using google earth that showed you the route (even land marks) you could have 2d using just ride profile or there are videos but you need to be online for them to work.
only downside i found was that if i created a route using mapmyride or google earth....although in the webpage it would show the elevation changes they never transfered to the gpx file i imported to bkool.....but rides imported from your garmin that you have done work just fine.
all in all its a really good turbo trainer and the software is good.....theres even an ipad version now but i'm not sure how that links up to the trainer....i'll have to try it out.
they did a second release last year because they changed the course to accomodate more people.....not ding that this year but rumour has it there were 2500 places....either way i dont think there will be a second release this time
you think its not the shoes....but it probably is.....you're feet swell up a bit due to the blood flow increase...couple this with keeping em in the same position and they get numb.....also your arch may drop....you can get insoles to help with this.
bontrager shoes are the only ones i find with a slightly wider fit that stops this happening to me!!!
