do it. i am and my weekly mileage isnt near yours at the moment. have done two marathons this year in the last 2 months in under 4.30ish and am bank ramping up the training now.
north coast trail is hard and long but bl00dy gorgeous! get out and run it - bouley bay to greve de lecq and back is a nice long route to try and is probably the worst section.
if you dont sign up for the race then sign up to be a sweeper - - i did this last year and ran 12 miles of the north coast sweeping up injured runners and rubbish. was fab!
no its up through waterworks valley - you start in St Helier and run through St Helier, along the inner road for a mile or so then up waterworks valley. As soon as you get to the top of that in St John/ St Mary then its pretty much flat from them onwards - a small hill around Corbiere area and then down the railway walk to St Aubins and pancake flat final 4 mile along the front and around town.
tis not a flat course but its really not bad - there is a long uphill section from about mile 3 to mile 6 but the rest is pretty flat and the last 7 miles are so are downhill and then pancake flat!!!
i live here and am doing the full marathon for the first time this year - scenery is bootiful and the support is normally really good! sign up!
(though i have heard that Guernsey is flatter.......)
