Thanks very much - I will have a look.

I have heard that the GPS ones do drop signal a fair bit so was wonderingthe the radar was better - odd that it doesn't seem to have taken off though - maybe it's really expensive....

met someone a few months ago who was wearing a distance measuring thing that you put on your waist and it measure your distance with a radar as you run. I can’t find these anywhere and am beginning to wonder if I am imagining it! Does anyone know what I mean??

Thanks,

Dom

Is it your achilles tendon that is hurting? I'm no expert but having had achilles tendonitus I would say REST REST and more REST! As well as the usual ice packs and so on.

Hello,

I am interested in your experiences of running on the grass as opposed to the road or pavement.

I have recently recovered from an injury and had to take a month off so would have expected to slow down a little. However I am now running on the grass mostly, rather than the pavement, to be kinder to my body, but I am so much slower! How much do you think this can be attributed to the surface??

Any opinions would be great!

Many thanks,

Dom
