Ran in the winter 2 yrs ago, through to spring in Saloman Speedcross, very light, not bad in the snow, great lacing system, where the tongue has a pocket to hide the toggle,I understand that Saloman have weather proofed their product this year,so that will be a bonus. The uppers got wet but were not totally uncomfortable, the sole was brilliant in the snow & in the mud, hard wearing with good nobbles for grip, took ages to see any sign of wear,I was really impressed with these trainers,i'm in Inov8's at the moment but will be going back to the new version of the Speedcross or the Fellcross, for the coming winter. |

| My thoughts precisely,go for it whenever the mood takes, the legs may need a good warm up but what a mental buzz when you get 10 mins into the run.Keep running & shagging every1,we're only here once. |

I bought the Mizuno wave creation 11,from start fitness for £80 in their online sale,I have had an Achilles problem so not had the chance to run in them but when I did I could immediately tell the difference. They are really well cushioned & feel great underfoot,I did take it steady but seemed to help me move at a good speed, better than expected, they were a bit tight around the midfoot but that wore off after a couple of runs. A great shoe, definitely for the neutral runner who wants a class shoe for a longer period of time, worth the added expense,I didn't feel as sapped when I returned from my normal 6 miles route. |

This is a very helpful site, for beginners,I was pleasantly suprised & will be signing up for probably the both of the Jane Tomlinson 10k runs,in my hometown ( & Jane's) Leeds & York. As a local girl,I followed her progress,on the local & national tv channels,a truly remarkable & determined woman, who despite all the odds, bravely battled on to the end,it puts into perspective a few hicups we ALL have in life & what really counts. It makes you kick your own "butt",when we feel sorry for ourselves & are being selfish,to go & get out there & do something about life's little hurdles,if it's not physical, psychological or life threatening it's a case of stop "whingeing" & make amends. Jane may have gone but she DEFINITELY WON'T BE FORGOTTEN,a credit to all of us & an inspiration to ALL runners alike. |

GREAT in the snow & mud,was turned on to these by a mountain biker,he wasn't wrong,a good, light but sturdy shoe, plenty of grip, they've been a godsend in the snow. Would definitely recommend them to anyone starting out trail running. |
