Just spent a week in PDC and took the opportunity to ride most of the course and run most of the run route.

IMO - bike course has plenty of slow ascents and is very windy - some terrific descents in there too - I'm no climber but managed the climbs OK - overall think it's a TT bike course,

Run is not flat but not hard either - wind is a welcome relief ! Looking forward to tackling it again but this time I won't have been on the beer for a week.

Stayed at Bitacora on same road as Club O and can recommend them. Booked Club O in the end though as looked a little nicer.

Another vote for socks here - tried to give them up in August and lasted about three weeks before injuring my calf again - now back in them and staying in them.

I might look a t**t in the summer but I can still run - that's more important tome

Runner's World is sorry for any annoyance or inconvenience caused by this weekend's spam attack. As Dominique stated at the start of september, we're introducing third party software to prevent this happening in the future. The software is currently in the final phase of testing and will be implemented as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience

Alison

.... this is the poor show of poorest shows .... it was over 3 (yes THREE) months ago that the first mass attack happened, and before that there was a steady stream, dropping a somewhat hefty clue as to what was coming ....

You really do need to sack off that pathetic Immediate Media company that purport to be able to do this sort of thing ... its embarrassing now !

1) You know that this is an entirely free service don't you ?

2) Now look up 'get a grip' and well get one !
