Thanks Matt, I suggest part of the problem may be that it was registered to run on Saturday 23rd according to the runbritain entry. I assume that this can be corrected and it can be acknowledged by UKA and put on post event as it would be a shame to tarnish such an excellent event by a bit of an administrative issue.

2nd time at Sleaford HM in the build up to VLM and as usual a friendly welcome and a good course with a good technical Tee shirt this year which was an improvement on the cotton one last year. The only disappointment that this year it was not UKA acredited and does not appear on power of 10 or Runbritain which as a club runner is significant to me and may affect my decision next year.

Well done Stevie G and I wish you well for the new year, even though we may clash in posts now and again I bear no malice to anyone personally, just that I do tend to say it like it is and postings do not relay emotions too well as I am passionate about this sport.

P.S.  And you are putting in some decent times in the XC Thames Valley League too.

Mike no need to be sorry, this thread does not say 2011 miles in 2011, just 2011 in 2011 and in my book your effort is equally commendable as mine and anyone elses and should not be detracted by anyone that appear to disrespect that achievement, whether be miles, km or metres

Carry on Mike, keep on doing what you enjoy and we should all encourage those that take the effort to run, jog or walk as it is them that enable the sport to grow.
