My daughter is 15, we have a nice blackberry on contract to Vodafone for her, she asked for a nice phone with mobile internet so we said yes as long as you are prepared to forego a percentage of your pocket money, she readily agreed, job sorted. I may add that to ensure my daughter could ring the emergency services or her parents I would gladly pay the £17.50 per month contract, because to me my daughter is priceless and to risk her safety for a couple of quid is stupid beyond belief.
