Hi there.. just wondering if anybody can help me.. I am now a fairly experienced runner (34 marathons done!).. I run into work most days - between 10 and 13 miles - depending what time I get up, and normally just go at a slow pace and enjoy it.. but in the last week or so, I've been finding it a real effort.. my legs feel soooooo tired and heavy and I feel really sluggish... so much so that sometimes I feel like walking (which I never ever do!).. I know it's been humid recently.. so could that have anything to do with it?
when I've finished the run.. I feel absolutely fine.. (apart from the fact that I am absolutely dripping with sweat)
Just curious what you guys think.. and I"m hoping it's not just me!?
I know a very bizarre one this.. but the last few times I have been out on a long run (over 22 miles).. about an hour after I finish my top row of teeth really start to ache, and it's quite painful.. It lasts for about 2 hrs then it suddenly goes.. I'm curious as to what could be causing it... Thanks..
Hi there.. I'm just wondering if there's anybody out there, who's running the Midnight Sun Marathon this weekend? As the race doesn't start til 8.30 in the evening.. I'm just wondering if anybody's got advice on what to eat and at what time before the race starts? Should I just treat it like a normal marathon and have what I'd normally have before a marathon about 3 hours from the start.. Also if anybody is going it would be nice to meet up, as I'm going on my own.. Cheers, Mel
