Did a steady 4.2 miles last night in 40:57.
Bit of a strange run, at times felt really good then all of a sudden I'd be knackered for a couple of minutes and back to fine again?! lol.
Back out this evening in the gale force winds!
How's everyone else doing at the moment?
I’m back running again after a lengthy layoff and this time I’m going to try and take it as serious as possible.
The only problem I have is I’m a very fussy eater and struggle to eat the correct foods.
Now surely I can’t be the only one with this problem?!
I’m certainly going to give it a good go and try to eat the correct foods etc but what I’m thinking is I may need a boost before training and after?!
I’ve never been one for protein shakes and the like but I really want to give them a try but with the market so wide open where do I start?!
Could anybody give me a bit of advice regarding “shakes” that could benefit both before training and/or after training.
Thanks in advance
Hope the recovery goes OK Stylish!
I've been out for 2 weeks now completing low milage runs at a steady pace, tonight is the start of the "real stuff"
Could be a bit warmer like! Gulp.
First time doing VLM, very excited!
I "was" a fairly steady Runner competing in regular 10k's and half marathon's but I had an injury around Feb time of this year and haven't run since.
Slowly getting back in to it with low mileage and fairly slow runs last week and this week then week after proper training starts.
Are you expecting cold weather?
