I get blisters in the same area, have done ever since I changed to forefoot landing 3 years ago and yet to find a sloution. I have very high arches and wonder if this is the problem? A thick layer of vaseline, 'soft' (not too worn) socks and going up half a shoe size helped but nothing solves it. So I'm interested too if anyone has any magic solutions!
Is anyone doing this? I've entered and would love some idea of how flat/undualting the course might be. The route map isn't very informative. Would also be good to know how popular it's likely to be. See you there??
Hi Old Colin, looks an interesting route and squelching through the mud can be fun! Are the undulations gentle or mountainous? I have an unhealthy fear of hills - nothing to do with being lazy and unfit of course!
