Macca - You were only allowed to choose one 'breakfast item' and one of the choices was a croissant. It's a tough one, when other breakfast items are porridge or beans on toast etc because a croissant, while delicious, is not sufficient to be considered a complete breakfast.
I have a worrying development in my knee. I've been accepting a slight niggle as something that would go away if I did some strength work, rolled a bit and only ran once or twice a week, shortish distances. But it has now moved from 'niggle after 10 miles' to 'niggle with a hint of sharp pain' after 30 minutes. I have emailed a physio to get an appointment. Dammit.
Joe B - Yes! I was impressed, it was a proper breakfast menu, with proper choices and a good coffee to go with it. I tried out the porridge this time, but was a bit envious of the croissants and beans/nice bread options.. next month maybe.
How far is the run up to Arthurs Seat? I keep meaning to do it, must find an excuse to go to Scotland again.
Ha, muddy, I didn't see Ms V, so I must have missed you.
Hmm, thanks your advice/experience has me thinking I can really do faster than I was aiming. I'm fully committed to P&D and genuinely excited to get back to proper running. I will save my new time goals for the new thread though, keep you all in suspense
