Hi Folks,

Looking for some advice or opinions. New arrival in late Feb. has meant I have gone from 50 miles a week to about 10-15 miles a week with no structure to training.

Am torn between sticking to two quality sessions a week and continue racing or to write this season off, maintain base fitness and get back into a structured training for this autumn/winter cross country season with the aim of being ready for road racing season next year.

Anybody's experiences, advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gavin.

Hi Folks

Have been considering buying a pair of Skins Bio RY400 Long Compression Tights (reduced to £59.99 on www.sportsshoes.com). Has anyone used them and if so would you recommend them?

Thanks

Runs-with-dogs - thanks for your reply. Will give them a try and see how they turn out. Am not a fan of the newer Pegs but very hard to find the old 25/26 versions. They were a cracking and uncomplicated shoe.

Hi Folks I am after some new shoes for longer/easier days. I normally cover around 45-50 miles a week so need something decent (I have came to the end of a stockpile of Nike Pegasus 26 . Have been recommended Brooks Ghost and have seen Ghost 3 online for £50. Has anyone used them and if so how have found them? I am a mid/forefront striker and around 73kgs and 6ft tall.

Any alternative suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks

Gavin

Hi folks has any heard of the following website: www.thstyleshoes.com .

They appear to be an american clothing webite with some excellent deals on running shoes eg: 2011 Brooks Launch are £30 . They normally sell at £60 on any UK webites I have checked. They are offering free shipping but it doesnt say where they actually ship to. Should I be be cautious or take a chance?
