Yup,

I'm a yo-yo porker, and I know exactly why it is when I'm pork porkster,..its cos I've scoffed too much.

These days I track everything I eat in an application called fitday. I can see each week if I'm going to have put on, lost or maintained with eerie accuracy.

If you've put on a stone in 8 weeks, that would mean you've ate 49000 calories more than you have burned, give or take a few thousand for water. Thats about 875 calories more per day than you need. 875 is quite a lot of grub, about 3 1/2 chocolate bars, so yer doin summat wrong somewhere...and I'd imagine it isn't un-noticeable.

Hi,

Taken delivery of my new Oregon Vibra Trainer Fit (non-pro) HRM this avo.

But, errr....I can't seem to get a signal between the chest strap and the watch. I've spat all over the back of the thing, wet my chest etc etc....what am I doing wrong. Its flashing showing that its searching, but then it flat lines.

Am I weird?...I've put it on various parts of my chest, whats the best? Or am I too fat and it won't take a reading? :-(

Thanks

As far as I'm aware, the skin will constantly adapt and change to the changes of your body,...but its gradual. Hence, when you put a lot of weight on quickly you get stretch marks, the same when you lose, you get saggy skin. Its also age dependent, unfortunately meaning the younger you are, the quicker your skin can adapt. I honestly don't think 19st to 13st is that extreme, and in time the skin will tighten back up, but its not going to be overnight. Packing on some muscle will help though.

Just to say Tubby's still alive...

The new job has almost completely consumed my life, chatting has suffered, training has suffered, everything has suffered!!!

GNR is in 4 weeks, and I started training yesterday!! OMFG! The lass is doing really well though. I'm still up fer tough guy with team MOC, just gotta get me ass in gear.

Things are getting quieter, so you may find me sneaking in here more often :-)

Hope yer all alright...have I missed much?

Cheerio
