i have had to withdraw from 2 marathons with compartment syndrone. i've had a terrible year because of this type of injury. it seems to happen to me when i train more than 60 miles a week, i have decided to stay under 60 and put in more quality than quantity. my advice and i know how hard this will be is to completely stop running for at least a couple of months and have weekly massage on the leg.if possible cross-train as much as possible(cycle/row/swim)it will help when you do start running again, good luck.
