WELL, THE EXPERTS SAY BUY RUNNING SHOES A SIZE BIGGER ,

THAN YOUR NOMAL SIZE !

So I got 10s , instead of 9s .

But they fekt miles too big,

so I thought outside the " box "

took the straps of a pair of flip-flops

& stuck them inside .

The result was very comfy, & springy

& the shoes were now a perfect fit !

hi RUNNERS,
does anyone know why it is!
You attend an event, having put in the training, only to be faced with
a route, that where I live is rarely flat, & sometimes the lack of planning & awareness - of what people of all ages, are having to proceed
with .
Running downhill puts much pressure on the knees , & it is more difficult to run really fast, uphill the pace drops & heartbeat climbs
making P.B.'s really hard.
The people that plan these events are doing very well in a lot of ares
but should realise that in a "mixed" field everybody is not of the same standard

I agree that runners are paying too much to enter a race. Two examples of 5k races, in Plymouth & Exeter ! The Amarda 5k series you turn up on the night pay a £1 . The Summer 5k series in Exeter all off road with very few officials £9. No facilities were provide, so i swam in the river instead of a shower, eat wild fruit, instead of an exspensive drink, forgot my socks, put leaves in my shoes, & talked to David James
the England goalkeeper
