I've just had a reply from race director and there is only water at drinks stations and loos just after 19miles. When I did London in 2005 I didn't use the copious numnber of loos available. However in training for this one my loo breaks have been fairly frequent - including "loose you know whats" as nicely put above. This is going to be my biggest fear during this race and will probably put pot to any hope of a pb as I'll be worrying the whole way round. I'm hoping those bushes are big and the crowds few so I can discreetly disappear if need be!!

Sorry for butting in but has anyone done this event before who can answer a few queries? I'm wondering about drinks and toilets!! Are there any toilets on the course for runners and is it just water provided at the drinks stations or is there the option of a sports drink? I've only ever done London before and there is plenty of both so wondering if I'm in for a shock. I have emailed the race organisers but no reply as yet. Thanks
