I usually join this thread as soon as it appears. However, having only got my place at the VERY last minute, on the day all charity entries had to be registered by, it slipped my mind until I was wandering around the Expo this morning. I'm 45504 and I'll be wearing the white vest, with green writing, of The PSP Association. No need to make any special arrangements for me...but I may grab a jelly baby or two if that's OK with 'you'.

I recently discovered that one of the original organisers of this annual Mudchute shindig, Fran Aitcheson [RW name: UltraMeerkat], is still going strong but not running as much as she used to. Her main interest now is her food web site. I hope to see y'all on the day...when I'll be aiming for 11 minute miles alongside the RW Pacing Group from the Red Start.

Sorry, I haven't visited before, having signed up before Christmas.  Injury after injury had left me wondering if I was going to be able to run at all.  Did my longest run since January on Sunday, 12 miles, without pain...so I've decided that I'm going to run.  Watch out, Hashette. I'm back!

User name: RichardW [...because Runner's world objected to me calling myself RW]

Real name: Richard

Estimated time; Well, I've decided to run with the 11 minute pacing group so 3:10 to 17 and anything under 5 hours will be a relief/suprise/achievment.

Race number: 4305

I'll be wearing the all-new Herts Phoenix scarlet training top...unless it's exceptionally hot, and then I'll be wearing the all-new Herts Phoenx white training singlet.

No requirements, although i'll accept a jely baby if there is one, but I'll slow down and say 'Hi!' to Support Group 7

See y'all on the day!

Thank you.

Time to split the lists as they're getting to long for one post.

There are now two lists, one for runners and one for supporters

Well, that was a fine effort by Ware Joggers.  Pity only about 200 were there to experience it though.  The uphill. whilst testing over the A10, wasn't as bad as I'd expected.  In fact, it's the first race ever where I reckon there was more down than up.

Met up with HOD before the start and on the second lap...but couldn't see Finchie or Mike.

Let's hope this becomes a regular fixture.  See y'all next year!
