Well done on the mara Nicole. I'm slightly the over way around compared to your targets. I had done my sub 50 10k (48) and 1.45 half and had been training and hoping for a sub 4 mara. I finished VLM this year in 4.13.
I think with your current endurance levels and good weekly mileage from london you can definitely reach those goals soon. The key for me was good quality speed work 2x a week with long runs (up to 14) on sunday and an easy run.
Feeling a but unsure of my plan right now. I'm following the RW smartcoach plan and it has a last 20 tomorrow despite it being only 2 weeks to London! I know nerves are usually high toward the end of training but the general consensus (reading up on it) is that I should be 3 week tapering..
Ive got 2x 20s, 1x18 and 2 16s in the bag. The last few sundays have been big - 20 - 16 - 20. Should I trust the plan or go shorter (say 15 instead of 20)?
Maybe I'm just jealous of you guys tapering like crazy!
