Just got an offer for the GO33 - completely unexpected as I was way, way down their reserve list.

Was only expecting to be entering the Hoka Highand Fling today. Weird how things turn out. Now to work out how to get to Strathyre in time as I suspect public transport is a no no.
Well done Tricia. Clydestride was a great day. Managed it in a wee bit under 7 hours which beat my estimated time by about half an hour.
My Garmin must have been thrown off by all the twists and turns along the riverside as I only clocked 38 miles instead of 40 but it was a nice surprise to see the finish when I thought I still had about 20 minutes of running ahead of me.
Was apprehensive about stepping up from marathon distance as I though it might scunner me off running if I had a bad day but it was a cracking experience and I'm definitely going to try a few more Ultras in 2015 now.
