Hi Ruth
I'd like some advice on how to fuel my half/marathon training. I'm finding it really hard to keep up with the calorie deficit running makes. Also should I be completely cutting out junk and processed food in order to improve my running or will it not make a difference? Thanks
Today I fell and broke my elbow and am so gutted. My marathon training has been going really well up to 13 miles. Can't run at least for a few weeks and need go know any ideas of what I can do instead to perhaps have a chance of reaching the start line or whether I should just give up trying now?
Just a quick question. is it necessary to have a recovery drink like a lucozade or a recovery shake after every run no matter what the distance, i've been having them on my longer runs but on shorter runs of only a couple of miles i didn't know if i should be doing the same thing
Don't know where your getting your blisters but i had a terrible problem with them on the insides of my feet where my trainers were rubbing and bought something called engo patches which stick into your trainers and since, touch wood no more blisters. Hope that helps.
Since running again after an injury I have started having problems with my periods. Now i've not had one for 2 months and its really starting to stress me out. I'm definitely not pregnant and just wondered if anyone else has experienced this type of problem because i'm really not sure what to do and i wondered if its something that will just correct itself as my body adjusts to running again
