this was my first EVER HM, i came in bang on my target of 2:20, which i was really pleased with because i went A over T in the woods at about 9.5 miles and bashed my face in which slowed me down considerably. Without my ridiculous clumsy moment i think i could have done 2:10 ish

 I agree with the PP that the scenary was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. It was a really nice occasion, black eye and nosebleed not withstanding

My medal says 10k on the back though. Which i didn't notice until this morning. I feel a bit cheated

Vince i remember you too, and my heart sank when i saw you in lap 2 and remembered what was comng next...
