I have a pair of Oakley Eye Jackets still going strong from 1998. I am going to treat myself to a new pair of straight jackets this summer. My wife has a pair of half jackets she uses for running, and loves them. I got hers from james and james sunglasses, and they were cheaper than retail stores. |

I did the Asics Great British 10k this year, and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were a lot of people, but I knew there would be, so I just enjoyed going for a run, and enjoying the atmosphere and scenery. We were lucky, and were in the first 500 runners out, so no problems on the course, loads of water etc. Running back past all the other runners for about the first 2 miles was interesting though, I was glad I wasnt at the back. We probably wont do it again, but will do the Bupa 10k, as we enjoyed running through london. |

I really enjoyed this as well, and set a new PB, as did my wife. Really well organised, well marshalled. Great cakes at the end. This was my first experience of a smaller race, having only done a couple of mass races before. Even though I finished 2nd to last, I didnt mind at all. The course was a nice gentle run around quite a scenic park. Will definitely keep an eye out and run this again next year if able to. Glad I decided to run this instead of the Birmingham 10k. |

Fozzy, I entered online on Monday night. Will we recieve our numbers/race details in the post, or need to collect them on the day? Looking forward to the race, although a little worried that I might finish last. |
