Tek - hope your feeling better soon. I had it in Feb....not nice.
Fiona - Be careful with that tendon.
I have been lurking, but my memory is awful so can't remember everything. Well done to everyone getting out there racing or running.
I have a long way to go. I will be lucky to be running again this year but trying to stay positive with lots of cycling and swimming. I have even booked for improver swimming lessons starting next week! I am seriously hoping to maintain some fitness but who knows?! I have re-thought my plans for next year, so now all my spring running events have been forgotten as I felt I would push to hard when eventually ready and likely do further injury. Instead I have registered for Scotland Coast to Coast. It will be different but hopefully all the cycling I am doing now will help!
First time I haven't been jealous at the mention of a marathon Jimbob! I hated every minute of Amsterdam Marathon! Not sure why......
Another check up today.... 3 weeks on and a slight improvement. A long way to go. I feel bad admitting it, but I am not missing running one little bit - but thats probably because I can cycle and swim and do upperbody stuff Unlike the last time I was laid up!
Well done to all out there today. I think there has been some awesome PB's!
Nothing so brilliant here. I did my first back 2 back days of cycling- Very short but still being careful with this injury- Followed by 1000m swim tonight. Three weeks after LN now, but still another 5 weeks they say before I can attempt running. I am hoping it won't be that long but not pushing it either! I have 11 months before my next event so no rush!
