I find that I never lose weight when runing mega miles.... Even earlier this year when I was running 70miles per week, walking another 60 and doing two weight sessions I never lost weight. It seems to make my body go into starvation mode! on a plus Note thou:, 8 weeks with no running, I haven't lost weight but lost inches! More definition in upper body, trying no to worry about the jiggly mess my legs have become!

I am still not running And not likely to be anytime soon. I have consultation with Surgeon on Thursday but I am trying desperately to avoid going under the knife again. currently managing to control my frustration with cycling 4x per week and swimming 4x per week. Cycling is easy and most enjoyable, swimming is another matter -although I have made improvements in the last few weeks and even started lessons!
As a non Paris runner I will continue to lurk and enjoy reading about your journeys.
