I would so love to click that enter button but I know it is not an option.
I am still not running And not likely to be anytime soon. I have consultation with Surgeon on Thursday but I am trying desperately to avoid going under the knife again. currently managing to control my frustration with cycling 4x per week and swimming 4x per week. Cycling is easy and most enjoyable, swimming is another matter -although I have made improvements in the last few weeks and even started lessons!
As a non Paris runner I will continue to lurk and enjoy reading about your journeys.
Welcome to all newbies. Paris is great and you will get lots of advice and information, some even running related, from folks here.
I will continue to lurk, sadly still no running. I have my appointment with the surgeon on 20th..... Very nervous about it. TBH there has not been much improvement in the last 4 weeks and I did have a week of sofa rest. Thankfully I am really enjoying cycling, and my swimming has improved lots.
Well done to Elspeth OH. Cracking recovery after her injury.
Hope the bike went ok Fiona.
Plank Challenge is great for increasing strength!
NP - thank you for the advice on the Nose clip. I am now getting my head in the water, still getting confused with breathing but heading in the right direction. My daughter had me picking up hoops from the bottom of the deep end on Friday Night.
The youngest and I went for a 10 mile cycle yesterday, strong headwind on way home and her gears jamming made a very hard cycle for her. 20 mile cycle for me this morning, but I think I overdid the weights yesterday morning - My arms were agony when I was cycling. Heading to the pool again tonight.
