Hi people, thought I would pop in again, it has been a while so forgive me for not being up to date!

I hope you are all well and injury free etc.

Recently my running has been very off and on, not out of choice, I just have been pretty busy the last 3 or so months, but will hopfully be able to get back on track real soon! I have still ran when I've had the chance, but family life and work have been so busy recently Ive struggled to find time to sleep let alone run! so the beer gut is starting to make a slight appearence again (despite me not drinking)

Anyway, hope you are all well, anyone watching the rugby this weekend, enjoy it!

I'm unable to do this years half marathon due to other commitments, so have a spare place, gutted as its my fav race, anyhow, I'm pretty sure the race organisers have been ok with swapping in the past, anyway if anyone is interested please get back to me!

You have until May, it should be doable for most people....most basic advice anyone can give is go and get some running shoes fitted from a running shop (will save you having weeks off with an injury and possibly physio) second is follow a training plan, but fit it around your life and your ability, dont over do it pop on here and ask questions.

Before your HM, it may be worth having a bash at a 10k race to get the feel of what a raceday is all about! that way you can learn from your mistakes (like rushing off too fast at the beginning etc)
