As a 48 yo runner I have found myself with a belly for the first time in my life and its horrible.
I'm probably only a stone or so overweight and have actually run much more this year than last.
Any tips on how to target the stomach area for anyone in similar boat?I know there is lots of info online but actually there is too much!Anyone followed the routine from the RW lose that belly guidebook?
I see this years race has a new course. It avoids Pollock Park by doubling back in Bellahouston and then crossing the river via the "Squinty" Bridge. Possibly flatter as the section through Pollock Park is actually quite hilly and also my lewast favourite section.
Adds a wee bit of freshness to the run and hopefully we will see a full marathon in 2014 for the Commonwealth Games Year!
