Barnes Runners has a very relaxed approach to training. They are a wonderfully ramshackle, disparate and eclectic bunch, many of whom simply run to try and stave off the midlife crisis for as long as they possibly can. They welcome beginners, recreational runners and elite runners (although an elite runner has yet to join them). For more information, visit their website: barnesrunners.org

Dear Richard,
I actually manage the Barnes Runners website. Please be assured that I am very loathe to combine my enjoyment of running with any non-prescription recreational drugs.
You are right, though… I am not much of a runner. But the truth is, anybody can run fast and win competitions. But running with verve, style and panache...well, that is not something that everybody can do.
I am pleased to learn that you enjoy our website. You would be more than welcome to join us for a run one evening (if ever you are in the area).

Salutations…

Josh Ord-Hume
