I've been running for about 5/6 months now and have done several races with the following PB times:
10k (39.40) 10 miles (66.42)
I am doing the Paris half marathon on the 6th March and I'm aiming for at least sub 1.30. At the moment, I have been doing several 13 mile training runnings in 1hr32 so I'm hoping that I should be able to reach my goal.
However, when I'm doing the long runs, I don't know how fast I should be going. A relaxed and steady pace for me where I feel completely comfortable is 7.15-7.30 but I'm worried that I'm going to ultimately get slower by just going at this pace for the long runs.
Would anyone recommend a 13 mile scheduled run where I aim to hit a certain (and quick) pace at each mile?
Also, is this aim for a sub 1.30 too high/low according to my race times?
Thank you! Katie x

At what pace should I do an easy/long run during the week if my aim is a sub 1.30 half marathon in March? I'm currently doing 13 miles in about 1.32 comfortably but I don't know whether I should be pushing it in training or just rely on the speedwork that I do twice a week?
