My daughter is 9 and is going to be doing cross country training with her school. Just wondering if she needs this done or if basic running shoes will be ok? Any help appreciated! |

Blimpy, where do you get the impression that he is "seriously" overweight? He weighs 15 stone+, which isn't much if he is tall. (I'm 6' 2" and weight just inder 15 stone!) Add to that the fact he does some weight training. Jerry, I would stick to what you're doing, but if you're doing the weight training 3/4 times a week then cut it down to 2 or 3! |

Mad shez, it can become quite depressing if you can't get to do excercise! Just keep looking upwards and onwards! I've had this now for over 2 months, and I just keep telling myself it's going to get better! Got an ppointment with podiatrist at end of month, so hopefully get more treatment then! |

Thanks for all the advice folks. Goldfinch, I wouldn't be doing ANY excercise at all that involves foot movement. You could end up worse off!! |

thanks for that BB. I've been doing the tennis ball thing, and the pain is definitely not as bad as when I first got it! It's very frustrating and you're always tempted to go out and run, but so far I've resisted! Thanks again! |
