Did my first marathon on Sunday. Trained gradually. .all went to plan. Pleased with my time and absolutely loved the experience. I gave it everything and was utterly exhausted at ten end (actually at 22 miles but made it to the end!) So monday/Tues mostly been concerned with aching legs and horrific blisters but was still buzzing. Now yesterday and today I am utterly and totally wiped out. Feel so tired I feel ill. My club mates all seem to have gone back doing gentle training or xtraining. I can barely keep my eyes open. Is this normal? To feel this wrecked? Why have they all bounced back? I feel bit pathetic
I have a pair of 2XU tri shorts which I love - they have a small red pad and I love them but they are worn out and I need some new ones.
I bought some new 2XU tri shorts and they have NO PADDING in them! eh? They have like a fleece lining but no padding. I like them but over 30miles on bike and it starts to hurt.
I have been shopping around online for some more but am nervous about buying some more in case they come with this fleece thing and not padding. The descriptions seem to talk about speed chamois (??) LTB padding (??) - I don't know what this means - I want a photo of the padding I will be getting but none of them seem to have any photos of the inside.
Can anyone advise or had this experience or know what I need to avoid to end up with this fleece thing again?
