A little late, but congratulation on all the runners for this years SNOD, injury curtailed this years efforts, two proplasped disk in May put pay to my efforts, however have a surgeons appointment late November, so am entering 2013 SNOD as some thing to aim for and to take part in. On a happier note the guy who took my place finished in 3.42, his first ever marathon, and damn respectable i think, he too is going back for more next year. No running to mention at the moment, but they will be. Have a good weekend of running.

Jason D, on leave at the moment then back to the docs first day back, its a re-ocurance of an old injury, scan has confirmed what my physio expected, surgery is  a possible, as is cortison injection, just keeping mobile and as flexible as possible, and redoind lots of reading to beat this thing, core core and more core work required. Ultra Disco as for the reason for the high price of injuries we some times suffer, i am sure its due to loving running and turing a blind eye to all those little aches and pains, and niggles. Enjoy your runs in the sun all
