I'm not trying to sell the f*cking thing I just wanted to know if anyone had benefited from drinking it!
What a friendly forum this is...
Wouldn't that be great!
If anyone has had coconut water and can back up these claims I'd to hear. They sound too good to be true!
I've just discovered the wonders of Coconut water and I can't believe I've not come across it before. This should be included in every runners diet as the benefits are endless. Here are a few:
It's low carb, 99% fat free and low in sugar (5g compared to 10-25g in sports drinks) and only 19 calories per 100ml
- It's a natural isotonic drink (294mg of Potassium (117mg in average sports drink), 25g sodium (41mg in sports drink), 118g Chloride (39mg in sports drink))
-Naturally sterile and It's a universal donor as it is identical to human blood plasma
-Carries nutrients and oxygen to cells
-Keeps body cool and controls temperature
-Naturally replenishes body fluids after exercise
-Boosts metabolism and weight loss
-Boosts immune system and fights of viruses
-Clenses digestive tract
-Balances Ph levels, reducing acid reflux and nausea
-treats kidney Stones
-Boosts poor circulation
This is documented on numerous websites and is not just some sales, get quick marketing scam. So why had i never heard of it? Shouldn't this be the best thing in fitness and weight loss?
One negative point, I've had my first one today. Although it's definitely manageable, it's not the best tasting drink but with this list of benefits I can put up with that.
