Hows everyone's training going?
The plan I'm following (HH Novice) hasn't really cranked up the big mileage runs yet!
I've so far done 3x10 miles a 12 miler, and 14 miler with a 15 mile run planned for Saturday (with shorter runs on weekdays)
Bit concerned that I am only up to 15 miles with only 2 months to go!! -but I suppose I have to trust the plan.............
Runs so far have been fine so taking heart from that.
The course looks very undulating veering on the side of hilly!!
Dont rule out the Kayano 21 the Kayano 21 version is not what you think, more neutral than a neutral!! -read and learn
Solereview review properly and don't just dissect the manufactures sales pitch!
Ah I have heard about "that hill" - so pretty flat the rest of the route would you say?
What is the organisation like?, water stations etc
Yep signed up. Planned to run Dublin few years back but injury put paid to that. First marathon for me. Just want to get round, under 5 hrs would be a bonus.
10 miles last weekend, following Hal Hidgeon novice plan, fitting it around shift-work.
Have ran four half marathons in and around 2hrs - 2hrs 15, but can't as yet get my head around running 26 miles!! - but bring it on anyway
Anyone for Ards tonight? -looks like it will be warm and humid
