I believe Hitler actually praised America for their eugenics programme and was influenced by a lot of their ideas. The camps that the British used in South Africa to imprison Boer women and children were also the main influence for the Nazi concentration camps.
To do the pretzel run do you just turn up at the Messe at 10:30? I know it's just a fun run but do you not need a number or anything? Wasn't planning on doing it but now that I've seen that they're offering medals to the first 1000 finishers I might change my mind.
If anyone really wants to see some Bundesliga action then Mainz are playing Eintracht Braunschweig on the Saturday. You can easily get to Mainz from Frankfurt by train or you can take line S8 on the S-Bahn. Only takes about 30-40 minutes from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof.
The ticketing service isn't working at the moment but I believe you can stand for about €15. Not sure about seating prices but think that they may be €35+. Mainz also have a nice new stadium. But tbh the FSV Frankfurt - Aalen match will probably be better as the two teams are more evenly matched both currently having 12 points from 9 matches, whereas Braunschweig currently only have 1 point after 7 matches and have only scored 3 goals so it could be a bit of a battering.
