You're in luck. Very good swim and run sections at Chester. Well coached and inclusive.... even the track session is friendly! The bike section has traditionally been a bit crap though... the Club Captain used to lead one ride from Blue Moon that's not especially popular because it's a bit hardcore. Unfortunately, he got seriously wiped out by a car just recently, so I'm not sure what the provision is. Other bike ride leaders weren't so common, but that might have changed recently. Suggestion... Deva Tri in two weeks and they're crying out for volunteers because it's such a big event this year. Throw your hat into that ring and it'll break the ice nicely for you. I think I'm on "carparks" at 05:00 |

Seriously funny, Citizen. I love this one too; "Three girls at my yoga class told me that I can complete and Ironman if I buy a Cervelo and eat Lunar Bars for lunch". Class! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfvpzkGfpEA |

Top racing, OC. Cool report too. And you could have been so much quicker without the time taken in T1 to wash all the salt from your locks. |

I do think something needs to be done to revive this snoozing, moribund, library. It's as dull as ditchwater, unless you're excited by endless "Pirate Kit" posts, rants from "Pirate Kit" administrators, and lazy threads from newbies who can't be arsed reading the 20,000 previous posts from newbies saying "I'm a newbie. Please can you tell me what to do"? Typically about a month before they ask "What time trial bike should I buy"? Three months before they disappear without a trace. So why not sling TW in with the other threads? It's all endurance sport related and I read nothing on TW that merits its own website. Much more engaging and amusing stuff to read in the RW forums anyway. On the other subject, Tri's cheaper than most sports I've played, including gym-ratting. It costs me more money than rugby did, although the "refuelling" cost of that sport make budgetary comparisons unreliable. I consider it a fairly cheap and profitable use of (a lot of) time. |

Nice one SA, you're Macc right. If you fancy a car share let me know?
SA's got a bitchingly pimped motor, Stanners. Make sure you wear your best trackie and a boss pair of traineeeees. Good likelihood you'll get stopped by the police on suspicion of stealing a couple of nice bicycles |
