Hello all

Monday Rest
Tuesday 6m very easy
Wednesday 8m steady
Thursday 5m very easy
Friday 9m steady w/ 8x100 strides
Saturday 4m very easy
Sunday 10m race (66:27)

42 miles

Straightforward week, no problems. 10 miler a little disappointing as it is a flat course and I was aiming for around 65. Went as hard as I could which is all you can do I suppose.

Nice PB MM-all those steady miles have obviously done good.

Hello all

Monday 10m race
Tuesday Rest
Wednesday 6m very easy
Thursday 8m steady with 8x100 strides
Friday Rest
Saturday 5m very easy
Sunday 11m steady

40 miles

Good start to the week. Guaranteed a PB (66:13) because it was my first 10 miler-paced it ok on an undulating course with enough left in the tank to push on at 7 and 9 miles-pretty happy with it! Also did a couple of easy strength sessions with kettlebell (Wed and Sunday).

Hello all

Thursday Rest
Friday 5m very easy
Saturday Rest
Sunday 6m very easy

15 miles

Very gentle recovery week for me this week after London. FLM was interesting if only because for reasons I can't fathom (foolishness maybe?) I ran too hard (nearly HM effort) between miles 3 and 9. Started slowing down at 10 and predictable results from the early miles later on. Finished in 3.25. Enjoyed the day (except for miles 16-26) and re-learned a lesson about pacing I thought I already knew. Another easy week for me this week.

Hope it's going well for you all.
