Please add me in for Milton Keynes, back from Angola for a 2 week business trip so managed to get an entry. No idea when I am headed back as they kindly have my passport for my work visa renewal.
Good running all, i did my 61kms run on the weekend in 6hrs and after MK marathon will start the long awaited taper.
Douglas - fingers crossed you will be on the start line on Monday. I would hope that a week would see the infection behind you and back you back to full strength. As Marty says best to get it out the way now.
Jacquie - lots of exposure over the weekend on Sophies Twitter account ... fame at last!?
Did anyone get their Comrades shirt (the UK one); I sent two emails and no response. Running it is last year was great fun, and would like to get this years. Can someone message me the contact details? (please)
WA: If I am in town (I am based in Angola most of the time at the moment) I will happily join. This is my 4th down .. but still feel like a novice.
The forum is very quiet at the moment, is everyone too busy training? I went to the South Africa last weekend and did the Om Die Dam Ultra, 50kms around a Dam an hour north of Jo'burg. Treated as a training run but after 20kms felt ok (and a little nored) so pushed on a little but not too much and ended in 4hrs 47mins. Training this week has been fine so I didnt overdo it.
RR: They should pick up the new time, but better safe than sorry. Closer to the date they do put your seeding on the site so it is worth checking nearer the time (I have the same issue).
