Chin up Squeakz - I've been feeling really odd this week too - physically and emotionally quite low which isn't like me at all. I didn't have the kind of race I wanted or hoped for - heat, crippling cramp and a wall of nausea all did for me but I'm delighted I ran it, finished and all that but this week have really felt off key - I do wonder if it's a chemical thing that pushing yourself that far just knocks the balance off somewhere?? I'm just relaxing and trying to look after myself - you take care too hey and hopefully next week all those of us feeling a bit blue will get back to normal!
I'm having a week off, it seems I'll recover quicker than if I go for a jog! I think I'll book in for the Bedgbury Forest Kent Trailblazer 10k as my next goal... Feel a little bit fed up to be brutaly honest Need a challenge to look forward to me thinks!
Helen - I'm doing that 10K - it's really close to my in-laws and some of hubby's family friends. Gorgeous forest and will be so lovely to be on trail rather than tarmac - and only 10K - what a pleasure!
Nikky Hammond on facebook - picture of me at horseguards with medal and arms round my boys.
Miss knees - saw your brother - or rather saw and read the fab banner right near the start and knew it was for you! You were only a little way ahead of me but I had to do a loo stop so didn't get to say hello!
Just registered for Brighton too La Llama - think I'm still in the dazed and confused state I was in when I finished yesterday.....
Didn't really mean to if I'm honest - thought there was a ballot and that there would be the payment options like there is for the Royal Parks Half, but just got an email saying 'congratulations you're in' - I daren't tell my husband yet, he won't be impressed...
