Hey, I found the thread! Not too hard really. Do you think there's time to watch the women start (this is at Blackheath, right?) and the get over to Mudchute in time for Paula and helping to set up? Can't wait to see everyone there!
Ally- I stopped into a great cafe along the way (early on too!) for the loo. The people working there were great, handed me money to get into the thing too! Ian- I'm thinking Berlin next. It's in the autumn sometime I think? I know some people I met in Paris were talking about Dublin too. Oh the possiblities are endless!
This was such a great experience. It gave me some new view on life that I don't usually get just going on a holiday. I got back to work yesterday and did nothing for the first half of the day (this is not what I usually do!). I had this feeling that having actually finished the marathon little things like getting work done didn't really matter anymore! Everyone at work was so supportive and wanted to hear all about it.My boss didn't even care...well, he might if it continues. I was really amazed how many people really seemed to care about this.
Hello! I haven't been here since I didn't get into London. Well, I didn't want to be bitter. I just got back from the Paris marathon (yeah well, we all have to move on!). The great plan was to run this weekend so I could at least go watch London next weekend. Now I have to figure out the best way to do this. I'm not a Londoner so getting around there takes some thought for me. So tell me, where's the best place to watch and how do I get there. Come on, you're supposed to be tapering now, this should take your mind off of it! Good luck everyone. I'm sure you'll have a great time! I hope to be there to cheer you on.
